A flag footballban a kemény kontakt- a tackle – helyett elég az övre erősített két zászló közül az egyiket lerántani az ellenfélről. A sportág non kontakt stílusa lehetővé teszi, hogy a különböző nemű sportolók hasonló eséllyel küzdjenek. A női flag football erejéről az Ungvári Liszorub is meggyőződhetett.
