A kétnapos megmérettetésen, ahol minden kistérség legjobban teljesítő csapatai vettek részt, több ügyességi, logikai, valamint taktikai feladatot kellett teljesíteni a fiataloknak. A katonai hazafias sportnapokat már több éve szervezik Ukrajnában, viszont idén volt az első év, amikor ténylegesen az egész ország területén, szinte valamennyi település bevonásával bonyolították le azt. A rendezvény megnyitóján Vitalij Matij, a beregszászi járási katonai adminisztráció vezetője, a hazafias nevelés és a versenyek fontosságára hívta fel a figyelmet, hiszen ez a szellem ad erőt Ukrajna védőinek is.
