Az Európai Labdarúgó Szövetség (UEFA) a klubversenyekért felelős bizottság javaslatára a jövőben nem alkalmazza az idegenben lőtt gólok szabályát – adta hírül az Origo.
A szervezet csütörtöki közlése szerint a végrehajtó bizottság elfogadta a javaslatot, így már a következő, 2021/22-es idényben sem fog számítani a továbbjutásnál, melyik együttes mennyi gólt lőtt vendégként.
A szabályt az 1965/66-os idényben alkalmazták először, azonban most, amikor a koronavírus-járvány miatt sok mérkőzést semleges helyszínen és nézők nélkül rendeztek, ez hátrányosan érinthetett csapatokat.
A jövőben amennyiben a két csapat összgólszáma a két találkozó után megegyezik, kétszer 15 perc hosszabbítás következik, ha ott sincs döntés, akkor tizenegyespárbaj jön. Az előző BL-idényben a címvédő Bayern München és a Juventus is kevesebb idegenben lőtt gólja miatt esett ki.
