Leállították a szombati Miskolc-ralit, az országos bajnokság második fordulóját, mivel a második gyorsasági szakaszon halálos baleset történt.
A Magyar Nemzeti Autósport Szövetség (MNASZ) közleménye szerint a Rally1-es kategóriában versenyző Dudás Gergő, Tóth Zsolt páros versenybalesetet szenvedett, melynek következtében a navigátor olyan súlyosan megsérült, hogy életét veszítette. Dudás nem sérült meg komolyabban, de a mentőorvosok sokkos állapotban kezelték. Tóth Zsolt 48 éves volt.
Az MNASZ, a versenyigazgatóság, a rendező és a versenyzők képviselőjének javaslata alapján a felügyelő testület azt a döntést hozta, hogy a rendezvény nem folytatódik.
A tájékoztatás szerint a baleset körülményeit a rendőrség bevonásával még vizsgálják.
